Power modules with Press-fit pins need to be pressed into the PCB. A hand press, hydraulic or pneumatic or with most precision a servo press can do the job.

Vincotech developed press-in tools for each housing that is available with Press-fit pins. Necessary parts are the press-in top tool that pushes the module into the PCB and the bottom supporting tool where the PCB is fixed.

Different kinds of tools are available like U-shape tools to press module to block or flat tools where the press-in depth has to be controlled with the equipment. These variants are available for modules with phase-change material and without phase-change material.
